Why Drive When You Can Walk Or Ride Your Bike Challenge

Replace the car with your feet or bike to run those errand(s).

For example: instead of driving to the grocery store, pharmacy, post office, library or gym; why not walk or ride your bike to your destination.

When: Beginning Monday, June 2nd and running until Friday, August 15th (76 days/ almost 11 full weeks).

How does the challenge work: Every time you substitute your driving with “human power”, log your miles and email me at the end of each week. Include your errand, mode of transportation and mileage. The winner will be the one with the most “human power” mileage accumulated.

Who can participate: Everyone! And I want to see some of my “back in the day of Frances’ Amazon blog” buddies signed up.

Will there be a prize*? Yes.

1st Prize: $25 (U.S. Dollars) gift card to iTunes, tee shirt and water bottle (#4 plastic code).
2nd Prize: $15 (U.S. Dollars) gift card to iTunes, tee shirt and water bottle (#4 plastic code).
3rd Prize: Tee shirt and water bottle (#4 plastic code).

Sign me up: Leave me a comment or email me: grumpychair at hotmail dot com.
