Great Body - Art Atwood

Art Atwood was born on December 27, 1973 in Wisconsin and he is currently an IFBB professional bodybuilder that did enjoy some success along the years. His first competition was in 2000, when he won first place at the super heavyweight class of Junior USA. His actual professional debut in bodybuilding was at the 2001 Toronto Pro. He also won first place there and the following year he participated at Mr. Olympia, where he was placed 12th. Art Atwood then competed in various other professional bodybuilding competitions until placing 7th at the IFBB Night of Champions in 2003. 2005 saw his first Arnold Classic participation, placing 14th. Art also did a lot of photo shoots for important bodybuilding and fitness magazines and even appeared in RxMuscle magazine.
What is interesting is that Art Atwood started focusing on weights more when he went to college, at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. That is where he met Tony Frontier, an individual that acted as a mentor for the bodybuilder. With the advice he took up he competed and won the ‘93 teen Wisconsin competition and only started competing again in 1999. During this time he started managing fitness clubs and nutrition stores, thus learning as much as possible about supplements, nutrition and bodybuilding in general.

At the moment Art Atwood stands in at 5′11” and has an off season weight of arround 325 pounds with competitive weight of 278 to 287 pounds. His measurements are: chest - 61”, legs - 32”. arms - 22” and calves - 21”, while training every muscle group twice per week. So far his competition record looks like this:
